Fo Guang Shan Temple Trip

On Tuesday 24th May, the senior school students visited Fo Guang Shan Temple in Botany. The focus for this trip was about building positive relationships and raising awareness of different cultures in our community.

We learnt about 3G, which is quite like our school values.  3G stands for doing good deeds, saying kind words and thinking good thoughts.

Here is Ali's explanation about 3G and 4G.

3g and 4g

3g and 4g is good to do in your daily life. 3g is when you say good words, do good deeds and think good thoughts. 4g is when you give others confidence, joy and convenience.

Doing good deeds is when you help people in need. Helping people when they fall over and opening the door for adults when they are coming. Also you could do the dishes for your mum.

Saying good words is when you use your manners and say thank you and welcome. Also, you can make compliments. You should never talk back to your elders in a bad way.

Thinking good thoughts is when you always think on the bright side and always think positively. When someone is sad you could cheer them up by telling them a good thought. When someone thinks that they’re going to fail tell them that they can do it.

In conclusion, you should remember 3g and 4g because you will have a good and positive life. Plus little kids will look up to you and follow your role modeling.
