Eating Healthily

Have you ever been in a situation where you realise, that you’ve been eating too many chips on the couch? To prevent that, you should probably know how much healthy foods help and why. You should also know what foods to eat and how much you should eat in a day.

When we eat healthy foods, it gives us the good stuff we need in a day. We eat healthy foods because we need it, otherwise we’ll lack in iron, protein, minerals, etc. Different foods give different things, that’s why we eat different colours in 5+ a day. The energy in junk food wears out quickly, but healthy foods give a big energy boost for the day. Also healthy foods help you not to get sick, get diabetes, or get diseases.

If you’re trying to stay in good shape, then these foods may be necessary. Try adding fruits and veggies to your meals, like banana in your cereal, fruit and crackers in your morning tea. Ham and lettuce sandwich for lunch and rice and a bit of meat and veggies for dinner. Sushi could be an option for any of the meals. There are alternatives like tofu or nuts instead of meat to get the protein you need in a day. Treats should be eaten occasionally only, because they carry lots of bad fat and calories, and have energy that doesn’t last that long, compared to fresh fruit and veggies. Spinach is recommended because it's a super food containing lots of good stuff, like minerals, fibre, calcium, etc.

If you’re eating too much of one thing, then you should change part of your diet to balance it. Humans are omnivores, we eat plants and meat. Every food can give you good fat and bad fat, so eat only about 5 servings of fruit and veggies and about 1 serving of meat, don’t forget about bread, pasta and rice, those should be eaten with meat and veggies.

A good body is created by eating the right selection of foods, not eating less amounts. We eat food to give us the important fibre, protein, iron, etc, but we need to eat them at the right time. A person eating a lot of veggies is good, but eating a variety is better. The next time you make your meal, think about balancing the amount of food you eat and you’ll be living a healthier life.

Healthy Eating

Do you want to live a healthy life? Junk food satisfies you for a minute, but being healthy satisfies you for life. You might not notice it, but eating healthily is actually easy. You will be impressed how much you’ve changed after about one week of healthy eating.

Why should we eat healthy foods?
Even though healthy food doesn’t taste as yummy as junk food and sweets, it is still good for you. Fruit and vegetables taste great and are jam-packed with vitamins, minerals and dietary fibre to help stay fit and healthy. Healthy foods contain vitamins and other nutrients that can reduce stress, which can compromise the immune system and help you to not have such problems as heart disease and stroke. You will also highly likely not get any sickness.

What are some examples of healthy foods?
Since there are so many healthy foods to choose from, here are some recommendations. Starting your day off with a wholesome breakfast is a great start to your day. You could have some toast, cereal, or oats with a piece of fruit to start your 5+ a day, and also a glass of milk. For morning tea, you could try a sandwich with some veggies inside, or if you're bored of having sandwiches, you might like carrot or celery sticks and you could have it with some hummus. Another great idea is fruit kebabs with some berries, banana, grapes and kiwi fruit or kebabs with meat. Lunch might be a bowl of rice with some curry or cooked veggies. Tacos with some meat, diced lettuce, pieces of capsicum and maybe a bit of cream or sauce would be a healthy, yummy dinner. You should also try homemade burgers with homemade patties, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and a bit of mayo to get in your veggies, grains, protein, and a bit of dairy. Instead of having a fizzy drink, you should try some fresh orange juice without sugar, it should taste as nice as a fizzy drink. Once a week, you can have a treat or two.

What is a balanced diet?
If you are eating too much junk food and sugar, then you should go on a diet to eat more healthy foods. You don’t have to eat less, you just have to eat right. A balanced diet is when you eat less sweets or junk food, but still eat enough. Everyone should be eating their 5+ a day to stay healthy, which includes two fruits and three vegetables, but remember, you can eat more if you want. Don’t forget about the grains (rice, bread, pasta, etc), proteins (meat, fish, nuts, beans, etc), and dairy products (milk, cheese, butter, etc).

Remember, you don’t have to eat less, you just have to eat right, because junk food satisfies you for a minute, but being healthy satisfies you for life. Next time you buy packaged food, look again. Does it really have enough goodness to keep you going?

Healthy food

Are you sick of being tired? Most of it comes from not eating healthily. It is easy to eat healthy, all you have to do is eat the right things.

If you do not like healthy food, then my advice will help you on a better life. If you don’t eat healthy food you might get diseases. Veggies and and fruit are jam-packed with vitamins, minerals and dietary fibre to make you live a better and longer life.

If you’re trying to stay in good shape, then these foods may be necessary. Carrots are very good for your eyes. Carrots may not be nice but it is good for you. Bananas are nice and even better to be on your breakfast, I assure you it’s delicious. You should eat veggies and fruits five times a day they’re good for your health.

When you eat a balanced diet, you live a longer life. A balanced diet is when you eat  all the right things. The right things might be fruit, grains, and vegetables. If you like chocolate, you can have that once a week because it keeps your sugar level high. That's a balanced diet.

Make sure you eat healthily so you can be fit and strong. A balanced diet isn't eating less, it’s about eating right.
